A better application starts with evidence

What UK sponsor employers need to understand from your CV

Appearing on the UK register of licensed sponsors only tells you that an organisation holds a sponsor licence. It does not mean the employer sponsors every role or every applicant. Your CV still needs to show that you fit the vacancy, meet the required skill level and can contribute enough value to justify progressing your application.

Recruiters often scan a CV quickly before deciding whether to read it closely. Clear job titles, relevant skills, recent achievements and readable formatting help them make that decision. Dense paragraphs, unexplained career changes, generic personal statements and lists of responsibilities without outcomes can hide otherwise strong experience.

Know what to fix first

Six separate scores reveal whether format, keywords, relevance or weak evidence is holding the application back.

Check before you commit

The diagnosis is free and private. You see the score and recommendations before choosing any paid service.

Turn evidence into impact

The £4.99 service transforms truthful experience into clearer, role-focused language without inventing credentials.

Your private report

Six checks, not one unexplained score

The overall score is supported by a breakdown that helps you decide what to fix first. A CV can be readable but poorly targeted, or relevant but difficult for an applicant tracking system to parse. The separate scores make that distinction visible.

UK CV Format

Structure, section order, length signals and readable presentation.

ATS Compatibility

Headings, contact details, keyword clarity and machine-readable content.

Role Relevance

Alignment between your target role and the experience shown.

Skills & Keywords

Presence and context of technical, professional and sector terms.

Experience Quality

Action-led statements, specific outcomes and measurable evidence.

Sponsor Suitability

Clarity of seniority, specialist value, location and sponsorship context.

Use the result properly

Connect the CV check with sponsor research

A stronger CV works best when it is sent to relevant employers. Start with the UK sponsor directory, then narrow your research using sponsors by industry or sponsors by city. Always open the employer's current vacancy and confirm whether the specific role can support the visa route you need.

If you are unsure how the official register works, read our guide to checking a UK sponsor licence. International graduates can also use the guide to building a CV for UK visa sponsorship jobs.

Do not let a fixable CV weaken the next application

Sponsor employers still need to shortlist the person behind the visa requirement. If your CV buries achievements under generic duties, repeats the same wording or fails to match the advert, relevant experience can be missed before anyone speaks to you.

Start with the free diagnosis. If the report exposes weak positioning, the reviewed £4.99 rewrite gives you a clearer, ATS-friendly version built around your real experience and target role. No subscription and no invented claims.

UK sponsorship CV questions

Important details about scoring and the optional rewrite.

Is the UK sponsorship CV check really free?

Yes. Uploading the CV and viewing the automated score, strengths, weaknesses and recommendations is free. The optional reviewed CV rewrite costs £4.99 as a one-time payment.

Does a high CV score guarantee visa sponsorship?

No. A sponsor licence does not mean every vacancy is sponsored, and a strong CV cannot guarantee an interview, job offer, Certificate of Sponsorship or visa. The report helps you present relevant evidence more clearly.

What file types can I upload?

You can upload a text-based PDF or DOCX file up to 5 MB. Scanned image-only PDFs cannot always be read accurately, so a DOCX or selectable-text PDF usually gives the best result.

What happens after I upload my CV?

The system extracts the CV text, checks six areas and prepares a private report. You then enter your name, email and phone number to unlock the results. Your CV is not published on the sponsor directory.

What does the £4.99 CV rewrite include?

The rewrite improves structure, ATS readability, role-specific wording and weak responsibility statements using facts already present in your CV. Your order enters a review queue and you receive an email confirmation with a reference number.

Will the rewrite invent experience or qualifications?

No. It must preserve your employers, dates, education and known facts. You remain responsible for checking the finished document and correcting anything that is inaccurate before applying.

Can I check my CV against a particular job description?

Yes. Paste the job description into the optional field to receive an additional match score, missing-keyword check and role-specific gaps. Use the exact advert for the vacancy you intend to apply for.

This service provides CV guidance based on UK CV and ATS practices. It is not immigration or legal advice and does not determine visa eligibility.
