Radiology Private Practice Junior Business Manager - Sponsorship Available

The Radiology Private Practice (Junior) Business Manager is responsible for supporting the effective operational delivery, coordination and performance of private patient activity within the Radiology Service. Coordinate admin and business processes supporting private Radiology activity. Coordinate private patient pathways. Act as a key operational point of contact for private Radiology admin and business enquiries. Liaise with Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers, Radiology Nurses, admin teams and other services to ensure private examinations and procedures are appropriately coordinated. Support the effective scheduling of private activity across relevant modalities. Monitor private patient pathways and proactively identify and follow up outstanding actions which could delay treatment, imaging or reporting. Ensure that appropriate admin processes are completed before private examinations and procedures take place. Support effective use of available Radiology capacity for private patient activity whilst ensuring this is managed in accordance with agreed Trust and departmental arrangements. Identify unused or underutilised private capacity and escalate opportunities or concerns to the appropriate manager. Monitor cancellations and delays affecting private patients and assist in identifying recurring causes and opportunities for improvement. Work with modality teams and admin staff to ensure private patient activity is clearly identified and appropriately recorded on relevant systems. Resolve routine operational problems independently within agreed procedures, referring clinical decisions and significant operational issues to the appropriate clinical or managerial lead.
